CACI International [CACI] last week said that Paul Cofoni, its president and CEO, will retire later this year and that Dan Allen, the president of the company’s U.S. Operations, will become president and CEO of the company effective July 1.

Cofoni, who joined CACI in 2005 as president of U.S. operations and then was appointed the company’s president and CEO in July 2007, will assume the role of chief adviser to the Executive Chairman of the Board Jack London on July 1 before retiring on Dec. 1.

Allen joined CACI as chief operating officer (COO) and president of U.S. Operations in March 2011 after previously working at Northrop Grumman [NOC] as sector vice president and general manager of the company’s Intelligence Systems Division. Allen has also worked for General Dynamics [GD] in their Information Technology business.

John Mengucci, COO of CACI’s U.S. Operations, will become COO and president of U.S. operations on July 1.
