DHS CWMD Office Issues Draft RFP for Radioisotope Identification Devices

The Department of Homeland Security Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office has released a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a single award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for Radioisotope Identification Devices (RIIDs) under the Securing the Cities program. The STC program helps urban areas and nearby regions improve their capabilities to detect and prevent terrorist attacks based on nuclear or other radiological materials. IARPA to Hose Proposers’ Day for Biometric Recognition Program

The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency will hold a Proposers’ day on Oct. 7 to discuss its Biometric Recognition and Identification at Altitude and Range (BRIAR) Research Program. The BRIAR program aims to develop software algorithm-based systems capable of performing whole-body identification at long-range and from elevated platforms. DHS S&T Plans IT Support Services as Small Business Set Aside

The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate plans to release the solicitation for its information technology support services requirement for its Office of Chief Information Officer during the first quarter of fiscal year 2021 and make an award in the second quarter of FY ’21.
