CBP Interested in Agent Deployable Aerostats
The Border Patrol, part of Customs and Border Protection, has issued a Request for Information for the Agent Deployable Aerostat Platform Technology (ADAPT) system, a mobile sensor-equipped blimp that would operate from fixed-locations but can be quickly repositioned as needed. The ADAPT systems would provide operators with photo and video data that enables detection, identification, classification and tracking of items of interest in rugged, remote, rural, urban, riverine and coast environments around-the-clock. The system will also help vector agents for interdiction. ADAPT would be packaged for transport on a standard CBP 4×4 vehicles. CBP Seeks Enhancements to Border Wall
Customs and Border Protection has issued a Request for Information seeking ideas from industry and other partners for improvements to the anti-climb and anti-cut features of the border wall. DHS Issues Draft RFP for Cellular Wireless Managed Services
