Brijot Imaging Systems says the Department of Homeland Security has granted the company’s GEN 2 passive millimeter wave imaging system SAFETY Act certification, giving the company as well as users and customers of the technology limited liability protection related to acts of terrorism. Brijot began the SAFETY Act certification process three years ago with its initial millimeter wave imaging system the Prime. “Passing the rigorous standards and being one of the select companies to receive this certification from the DHS is an important milestone in our objectives for product dependability and risk management,” says Mitchel Laskey, Brijot’s president and CEO.
