BAE Systems Sells Ceramics Business To CoorsTek

CoorsTek yesterday said it has acquired the advanced ceramic facilities of Britain's BAE Systems' California-based Vista unit, giving the company additional manufacturing space for technical ceramics. CoorsTek paid $7 million for Vista. The unit has 105 employees, 106,000 square feet of manufacturing space, and develops and fabricates lightweight ceramic armor systems, semiconductor components and assemblies, and industrial components.
