ATK [ATK] April 8 said it received a firm fixed price $7 million contract from the South Korean army for the purchase, installation and integration of its AAR-47 Missile Warning System with Hostile Fire Indication (HFI and Laser Warning) onto AH-1S helicopters. The upgrade will also include the installation of the AN/ALE-47 countermeasure dispensing system. The AAR-47 Missile Warning System is a combat-proven electronic warfare system designed to protect helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft from surface-to-air threats, the company said in…
