Atherton Named To Lead Textron’s Bell Segment

Textron Inc. [TXT] on Monday said that Lisa Atherton, chief operating officer (COO) at the company’s Bell segment, has been named president and CEO of the segment effective April 28, succeeding Mitch Snyder who is retiring. Atherton has been COO of Bell since January, taking on the new position shortly after the company beat Lockheed Martin’s [LMT] Sikorsky business unit for the multi-billion dollar Army Future Long Range Assault Aircraft program.
