The Army’s Edgewood Contracting Division on behalf of the Joint Project Manager for Nuclear Biological and Chemical Contamination Avoidance plans to issue a Request for Proposal by May 27 for the Multi-Mission Multi-Threat Detection (M3TD) effort. The M3TD effort includes data collection of contact and non-contact sensors to evaluate the state of technology for detection of a variety of chemicals of interest, which potentially will lead to refinement of current technology to meet future capability requirements in support of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense programs.
