Army Finalizing WIN-T1 Updates, Command Post Modernization Efforts

The Army has set a spring 2018 deadline for fielding all updates to its Warfighter Information Network-Tactical Increment 1 (WIN-T1) system as its rolls out a series of modernization efforts for its command post operations.Gary Martin, program executive officer for the Army’s Command, Control Communication-Tactical Office, offered several updates to network projects aimed at establishing a simpler architecture for operation environments.“Today it’s a separate training for everyone of these mission command applications, so in the new command motion computing environment…
