AeroVironment Swings To Loss In Third Quarter; Cali Fires Clip Sales

A series of wildfires and windstorms around Los Angeles in January helped trim AeroVironment’s [AVAV] sales in its fiscal year 2025 third quarter and the company swung to a loss on acquisition and other costs, and lower margins, AV reported on Tuesday. The net loss was $1.8 million, 6 cents earnings per share (EPS), versus $13.9 million (50 cents EPS) in income a year ago.
