Ursa Major Nabs Award To Develop In-Space Propulsion Capability

Ursa Major, which has been cutting its teeth developing solid rocket motors and liquid rocket engines, has received a contract from an undisclosed customer to develop chemical propulsion for tactical satellite busses. The multi-year award is worth between $10 million and $15 million and includes development, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of a full propulsion system capable of six degree-of-freedom maneuverability, which refers to it being able to rotate in three-dimensions.
