ULA, Air Force Set For Friday’s GPS IIF-12 Launch

The Air Force and United Launch Alliance (ULA) are set for Friday’s Global Positioning System IIF-12 (GPS IIF-12).Launch will take place at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. The 19-minute launch window opens at 8:38 a.m. EST. The Air Force said at press time Thursday there was a 40 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for the launch.GPS IIF-12 is the final satellite in the GPS IIF position, navigation and timing (PNT) constellation.
