TSA Reopens Evaluation for TWIC Readers

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a Broad Agency Announcement for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Reader Pilot Initial Capability Evaluation. The readers, both fixed and handheld, must conform to the TWIC Reader Hardware and Card Application Specification. Readers passing the evaluation will be added to the list of readers from which the port, facility, and vessel pilot test participants can choose and acquire the readers best suited for their needs.
