Thailand Requests $26.9 Million In Evolved Seasparrow Missiles

The State Department approved a possible $26.9 million Foreign Military Sale (FMS) request to Thailand for 16 Evolved Seasparrow Missiles (ESSM) and associated equipment, parts, and logistical support.The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress of the potential sale on Oct. 28.The requested FMS would include major defense equipment (MDE) of 16 Evolved Seasparrow Missiles (ESSM) (14 tactical missiles and two telemetry missiles), three MK25 Quad Pack canisters, and 10 MK783 shipping containers.
