Textron Marine and Land Systems [TXT] has been awarded a $5.5 million contract to provide armored turrets and other services for the Colombian Army’s armored personnel carriers (APC), the company said yesterday. The contract, awarded by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), calls for 12 armored turrets, technical support services, vehicle repairs and spare parts for the Colombian Army's personnel carriers.
