Sweden Awards Saab Contract For Torpedo Integration Systems

The Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) awarded Saab a contract for the development and production of Torpedo Integration Systems (TIS) for the Swedish navy’s A26 submarines, the company said Wednesday.The order, for an undisclosed value, also includes an upgrade to the existing TIS on the Visby-class corvettes and Gotland-class submarines as well as options for future upgrade orders.The main contract terms include construction, production, and verification of Torpedo Integration Systems for the two A26 submarines that were ordered by the…
