State Department Approves Nearly $1 Billion In FMS Deals For Italy, India, And Romania

After a record year of potential foreign military sales (FMS) announcements, the State Department on Monday kicked off fiscal year 2025 with three possible deals worth up to $965 million combined for Italy, India, and Romania. Italy has requested to buy for $680 million the mission system for the EA-37 Compass Call electronic attack aircraft that includes the Network Centric Collaborative Targeting systems, radio frequency receiver subsystems, software-defined radio subsystems, counter radar assembly, AN/ARC-219 RT-2036 radios, network encryptors, and other…
