Spectrum San Diego Introduces CarSCAN X-Ray Imaging System

Spectrum San Diego has introduced CarSCAN, an ultra-low-dose dual-energy X-Ray imaging system for detection of explosives, contraband and stowaways in cars and light trucks. The company says the system works with vehicles traveling at normal checkpoint speeds and can be used at border crossings and other high volume inspection points. CarSCAN will be demonstrated next week at the Force Protection Equipment Demonstration VII exhibition in Stafford, Va.
