Sierra Nevada Corp. Acquires Firm Specializing In UAS Capabilities

Sierra Nevada Corp. (SNC) on Thursday said it has acquired Kutta Technologies, Inc., an Arizona-based company specializing in unmanned aircraft system (UAS) technologies in the areas of command and control, manned-unmanned teaming, and visualization and airspace management.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.SNC said the acquisition will provide it with a comprehensive set of unmanned system control technology, magnetic wave radios, manned-unmanned teaming technologies, and national airspace deconfliction technology.“With 15 years of experience in unmanned systems, Kutta brings a wealth…
