Senators Indicate They May be Able to Continue Sequester Relief in FY ’16 and Beyond

The Senate Armed Services Committee gave top Navy and Marine Corps leadership a mixed bag of opinions on the chances of lawmakers passing any sort of sequestration relief for fiscal year 2016 and beyond, therefore allowing the Defense Department’s budget plan for the five-year Future Years Defense Program to be implemented–though a senator who also sits on the Senate Budget Committee sounded optimistic.
