SECNAV Orders Plan To Address Budget Challenges

Navy Secretary Ray Mabus has ordered an assessment of the budget and resource challenges facing the Navy and Marine Corps, the service said Friday. Mabus has directed the office of the deputy undersecretary of the Navy’s deputy chief management officer to conduct the assessment and develop a plan to deal with the “multiple” challenges facing the Department of the Navy, the service said.
