SASC Leaders Urge Navy To Help Push Funds From Large To Medium USVs

The leaders of a Senate panel are pushing the Navy to redirect funds and focus from Large Unmanned Surface Vehicles (LUSVs) to Medium USVs (MUSVs), according to a November letter. While they support the Navy’s work to transition to a hybrid fleet that incorporates unmanned systems, “we are concerned, however, with the direction of Large Unmanned Surface Vessel (LUSV),” Sens.
