Sambur Appointed President, CEO Of Burdeshaw Associates, Ltd.

Marvin Sambur has been named president and chief executive officer of Burdeshaw Associates, Ltd. (BAL), according to a company statement. Sambur will replace retired Army Gen. William Hartzog, who the company said decided to retire. Hartzog will remain a member of the company’s board of directors and as a senior associate. Sambur led ITT Defense, now ITT Exelis [XLS], from 1977 to 2001 in successive senior positions and also served as the Air Force acquisition chief from 2001-2005. BAL, headquarted…
