SAIC Gets Army Order for 30 VACIS Systems

Science Applications International Corp. [SAI] received a delivery order from the Army for 30 Relocatable VACIS gamma ray imaging systems that will be used overseas to scan vehicles and cargo for weapons, explosives and other threats. The systems will be delivered this year and next year. Last year the company delivered 23 Military Mobile VACIS systems to the Army under a contract awarded in 2006.
