Romania, Norway Approved For $1.1 Billion In AMRAAM Sales

The State Department last Thursday okayed potential foreign military sales (FMS) of AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) to NATO allies Romania and Norway worth up to $592 million and $405 million, respectively. Romania has requested to buy 186 AIM-120C-8 AMRAAMs, four AMRAAM guidance sections, captive air training missiles, propulsion and control sections, and related test, spares, and other equipment.
