Rheinmetall, Honeywell To Collaborate On New Combat Vehicle Tech

Germany’s Rheinmetall has signed a memorandum of understanding with Honeywell [HON] to work together on visual systems and auxiliary power units for combat vehicles, the companies said this week. Rheinmetall and Honeywell noted the two firms are also in talks about potentially expanding the collaboration to cover additional capability areas, such as counter-drone and electronic warfare systems. “From auxiliary power units and visual devices to building automation, the list of potential areas of cooperation for our two companies is long.…
