Raytheon UK [RTN] and Falck Schmidt Defense Systems

on Wednesday said they signed a collaborative marketing agreement to explore joint power sub-systems and platform integration opportunities.

Denmark’s Falck Schmidt has subsidiaries in the United States and United Kingdom.

The two companies will also market their combined capabilities and products throughout Europe and North America.

Through this agreement, Raytheon brings its capabilities in the design, manufacture, test and supply of integrated power solutions, which Falck Schmidt enhances with its extensive experience in the field of platform integration and auxiliary power systems.

“This collaborative agreement enhances Raytheon’s ability to design solutions and strategically partner in the next-generation power market by growing our capability through teaming with recognized and reputable leaders in their field like Falck Schmidt,” said Stephen Doran, managing director of Raytheon’s Power & Control business.

“Raytheon is investing considerably to develop its advanced power products, leveraging our credentials in military and space-grade design, manufacture and supply chain to solve customers’ demanding, platform size, weight and power density challenges,” he said. “Our alignment with Falck Schmidt will enable us to continue to offer customers a ‘one-stop’ approach to ensure our clients can take mission system electronics to market simpler, safer and swifter.”

Together, the two companies will offer complete end-to-end power systems and integration services and products.
