Raytheon to Install Chemical Sensors in Port of Providence

Raytheon [RTN] has received a contract from the city of Providence, R.I., to integrate chemical detection sensors into the existing security system at the Port of Providence. The value of the award wasn't disclosed. The Centurion sensors FirstView video and sensor management software are being provided by Smiths Detection and will be integrated into Raytheon's Athena security management platform which creates a common operating picture for the Providence Emergency Management Agency's Operations Center.
