Raytheon Technologies [RTX] on Monday said its Intelligence & Space segment has completed its acquisition of SEAKR Engineering in a deal that strengthens its space business.

Terms of the acquisition, first announced in September, were not disclosed. Colorado-based SEAKR has more than 540 employees.

“Today’s growing space market demands greater innovation, technological expertise and ability to deliver to a higher space standard faster,” Roy Azevedo, president of Raytheon Intelligence & Space, said in a statement. “SEAKR Engineering provides depth and strength across all these areas with a portfolio of proven space electronics and a forward leaning culture of commitment, and we welcome them to the RI&S team.”

SEAKR’s radiation hardened system by design techniques are used in its advance processors, networked systems, reconfigurable radio frequency and electro-optical payloads, digital channelizers and beamformers. The company’s systems have been deployed in over 300 space missions.

SEAKR’s customers include Ball Corp.

[BLL], Northrop Grumman [NOC], Raytheon Technologies, NASA, the Air Force Research Laboratory, Britain’s BAE Systems, Frances’s Thales, Inmarsat and Cisco [CSCO].
