The Defense Information Systems Agency has awarded Raytheon (RTN) a $28 million contract to help the agency develop integrated network operations situational awareness (NetOps SA) across Defense Department classified and unclassified cyber networks. With the NetOps SA capability DoD want so quickly detect network intrusions and be able to assess the overall health of its Global Information Grid (GIG). Raytheon’s solution includes a Computer Network Defense User Defined Operational Picture developed by General Dynamics [GD]. Other team members include Science Applications International Corp. [SAI], Eye Street Software, and BCMC.
