ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — PDRI, along with subcontractor partners Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH), HumRRO, and IBM Talent Management Solutions, was awarded a multi-million dollar contract by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to develop, launch, and operate a groundbreaking cybersecurity assessment program. This new program will provide innovative applicant screening and assessment processes that will enable DHS to hire the most capable and highly skilled cyber security professionals into their workforce. It will also provide proficiency assessments that DHS will use to verify ongoing skill attainment in a rapidly changing profession, guide employee development, and support pay setting to retain cybersecurity talent. These solutions will ensure that DHS is well-equipped to acquire and maintain an effective, current cybersecurity workforce in the face of increasingly growing demands and high competition for highly skilled professionals in this area.
