Belcan Government Services Awarded $38 Million Professional Technical Support Services Contract From Joint Directed Energy Transition Office (DE-JTO)

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Jan. 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Belcan, LLC announced today that Schafer Aerospace Inc., part of Belcan’s Government Services segment, has been awarded a Professional Technical Support Services (PTSS) contract with the Joint Directed Energy Transition Office (DE-JTO), with a contract ceiling of $38 million

Under the PTSS contract, Belcan will continue to provide advisory and assistance services (A&AS) to DE-JTO with contributing subject matter experts in laser sources, beam control, atmospheric propagation, lethality, modeling and simulation, and advanced high energy laser (HEL) concepts. With over 15 years of providing A&AS to DE-JTO, Belcan is familiar with all DE-JTO processes and procedures, from S&A requirements to Technical Area Working Groups (TAWG), as well as Broad Agency Announcements (BAA) and Multidisciplinary Research Initiatives (MRI) that produce high energy laser state-of-the-art advances.
