Peraton Appoints Former Alion Chief Schorer As Top Executive, Says Shea Has Departed

Peraton on Tuesday named Steve Schorer as its incoming chairman, president, and CEO, and also said that that Stu Shea, who had led the company since it was created in 2017 has moved on. Schorer’s appointment is effective Sept. 9. Schorer led the former Alion Science & Technology from 2017 until it was acquired by HII [HII] in 2021 for $1.7 billion and made part of the company’s Mission Technologies segment.
