Heller joins PAE from Engility Corp.

[EGL], where he has been senior vice president and chief operating officer since January. Before his service with Engility, Heller was president of the Professional Support Services Division of L-3 Communications [LLL], which spun off Engility.

Mike Dignam, who has served as president of PAE since 2010, will continue in that role and report to Heller.

“John has valuable experience, from successfully growing companies in the government and commercial services market and from his service in the military, that will benefit PAE as it continues to expand,” Paul Cofoni, executive chairman of the board at PAE, said in a statement. “He has a deep respect for our customers’ missions and will implement strategies that will ensure the high quality of our services as we serve a broadening market.”

Before joining L-3, Heller held various leadership positions at Harris Corp. [HRS].
