Northrop Grumman [NOC] said Wednesday it has been awarded a delivery order potentially valued at $71.2 million over three years, to provide software engineering support to the Headquarters, U.S. Army, Europe,and Seventh Army (HQ USAREUR/7A) for mission critical defense systems.

The delivery order, awarded under the Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CE LCMC), Software Engineering Center (SEC), Systems and Software Engineering Support (SSES) contract, includes systems such as command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) systems serving U.S. Army, Joint, Coalition, and NATO operations.

Under the contract, Northrop Grumman’s Information Systems (IS) sector will provide post-production software support to various organizations across multiple sites and locations around the world including Germany, Italy, Greece, Balkans, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Africa, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

“This contract is testament to Northrop Grumman around the globe and our ability to provide the United States Army, Europe, Seventh Army with a one-stop shop for their software sustainment support,” Catherine Kuenzel, Northrop Grumman Information Systems’ vice president of enterprise solutions, said. “The work of our employees and the solutions they implement support the warfighter’s mission and the overall goals and objectives of the Army.”
