North Carolina Acquires RAE’s Wireless AreaRAE Kits

The North Carolina Hazardous Material Regional Response Teams (RRT) have acquired RAE Systems' [RAE] AreaRAE wireless toxic gas and radiation detection monitors to their equipment bases serving six of its seven regionally-placed teams. The teams have RRT Trucks that are customized tractor-trailers with equipment and supplies valued at more than $1 million each. Each team is comprised of at least 48 emergency response personnel.
