Navy To Drop To A Single LCS Design

By Geoff Fein The Navy yesterday said that it will drop one of the two separate designs for its Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). The service said yesterday that it would cancel an existing request for proposals issued to Lockheed Martin [LMT] and General Dynamics [GD] and issue a new one for a 10-ship winner-take all competition
