Navy Finishes PDR For E-2D DSSC-6 Update

The Navy on Wednesday announced it and Northrop Grumman [NOC] completed the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) on the newest set of improvements to the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, the Delta System Software Configuration (DSSC)-6. The Navy said DSSC-6 will improve the Hawkeye by reducing pilot workload, improving situational awareness, provide readiness and reliability upgrades and architecture and cybersecurity improvements.
