Navy Awards Series of Contracts For Future Mine Countermeasures Capabilities

The Navy on Monday said it has recently awarded a series of contracts focused on future mine countermeasures (MCM) capabilities. The service first said it awarded a $7.7 million first contract to MCM Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) builder Bollinger Shipyards for an Advanced Material Order (AMO), procuring items needed to improve the MCM USV resulting from operational testing findings.
