ManTech Enters Healthcare IT Market Through New Acquisition

Moving into a new market area, just like some other government services firms, ManTech International [MANT] recently said it has acquired Evolvent Technologies, which provides healthcare information technology (IT) services to the federal government. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, although ManTech said it would be accretive to earnings this year. Evolvent, which is based in Northern Virginia, provides services in clinical IT, clinical business intelligence, imaging cyber security, behavioral health, tele-health, software development, and systems integration.
