MAG Aerospace on Monday said it has agreed to acquire AASKI Technology, a provider of professional services for C5ISR solutions to various defense agencies, government, allied and commercial customers.

Terms of the deal, which is expected to close during the second quarter, were not disclosed.

AASKI, which is based in New Jersey, is a minority woman-owned business with 400 engineers. The company is a prime contractor and is positioned on a number of contract vehicles, including the C4ISR related Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Service, the enterprise information technology ENCORE III, the Defense Information Systems Agency Systems Engineering, Technology and Innovation, Seaport-E and others.

AASKI delivers complete lifecycle communications, infrastructure and support.

“When we think excellence in end-to-end communications, logistics and lifecycle management, we think AASKI Technology,” Joe Fluet, CEO of MAG, said in a statement. “That reputation has been established over 23 years of mission-focused, customer-centric work.”

AASKI’s financial adviser on the deal is Baird.

MAG is based in Northern Virginia and provides comprehensive C5ISR services and specialty aviation to federal, international, civilian and commercial customers globally. The company has more than 1,200 employees.
