Lockheed Martin Acquires German Airport IT Services Firm BEONTRA

Lockheed Martin [LMT] on Tuesday said it has acquired Germany’s BEONTRA AG, an information technology services company serving airports worldwide, in a deal that expands its non-defense customer base and strengthens its solutions for airports. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, although Lockheed Martin said the acquisition is not material to its financial results. BEONTRA’s software tools enable airports to do integrated traffic, capacity and revenue planning. Its airport customers include Dubai, London Heathrow, Sydney, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Schiphol, Munich…
