Lawmakers Request DoD Briefing On Army’s Planned Cuts To Aviation Procurement

A bipartisan group of House lawmakers has sent a letter asking the Pentagon for a briefing on the potential industrial base impacts as a result of the Army’s planned cuts to legacy aviation procurement. The letter follows Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s comment earlier this week that the department was open to reviewing the Army’s plan to buy fewer helicopters in the coming years, and as Army Secretary Dan Driscoll at a hearing on Friday faced questions regarding the Army’s planned…
