Germany’s Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) on Thursday said it has acquired Battle Tank Dismantling GmbH Koch, which demilitarizes, dismantles and scraps weapons.Battle Tank Dismantling (BTD), which is also based in Germany, was acquired from the Scholz Group, a global recycler of steel and scrap. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.BTD runs Europe’s only NATO-certified tank dismantling plant.
