Italy Wants To Spend $300 Million On UAVs, Equipment

Italy wants to spend as much as $330 million to buy four MQ-9 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Aircraft, associated equipment and services, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress Aug. 1. Italy has requested the possible sale of four MQ-9 UAVs, three Mobile Ground Control Stations, five years of maintenance support, engineering support, test equipment, ground support, operational flight test support, communications equipment, technical assistance, personnel training/equipment, spare and repair parts, and other related elements of logistics support, DSCA said.…
