IntegenX, Inc. (IXI) has received a potential 22-month, $14.8 million contract from the Pentagon's Defense Threat Reduction Agency to develop an integrated sample-to- sequence system for rapid detection and identification of genetically engineered bacterial and viruses, medically relevant bacteria and viruses, and emerging pathogens. The initial task order is for $2.8 million.
