IBM Nabs Potential $1B TSA IT Award

IBM [IBM] won a $98.5 million contract from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) under a potential five-year, $1 billion award to improve information sharing within the agency. The contract was awarded to meet the Operational Applications Support and Information Services requirement under the Department of Homeland Security's EAGLE program, which is a DHS-wide acquisition program established for the purchase of information technology (IT) services.
