Hirsch Electronics has teamed with CoreStreet to incorporate Federal Information Processing Standard-201 enabling technology into Hirsch's Velocity Security Management System and RUU Verification Station. Hirsch says the integration allows smart card-based identity credentials to be verified not only during a spot check at a verification station, but also in ongoing, near real-time implementation of an access control system using registered credentials.
