General Atomics Acquires Signals Intelligence Firm; Establishes Cross-Collaborative Software Enterprise

General Atomics (GA) on Monday said it has acquired North Point Defense (NPD), a provider of signals intelligence exploitation software and sensor integration, adding to its capabilities in SIGINT to deliver intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions for platforms in all domains. Terms of the deal for the Rome, N.Y.-based company were not disclosed. NPD was acquired by GA Integrated Intelligence, Inc.
