General Dynamics [GD] will develop and produce solid rocket motors (SRMs) for Lockheed Martin’s [LMT] precision munitions under a new teaming agreement that will see GD enter the fray as a new supplier of rocket motors to power missiles and munitions, the companies said on Tuesday. The initial focus of SRM development and production by GD’s Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) business will be for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) with plans to transition to other Lockheed Martin…
